Flashing LEDs are useless and drain batteries, but can be turned off. Unfortunately, the warranty on this product has expired and I'm left out of pocket and unable to repair or replace it through Amazon or Sony. Sound is great, even better when you use the Dolby Atmos sound for Windows.
